The Hanuman Chalisa is one of the most beloved and powerful Hindu devotional hymns(a religious song or poem of praise to God or a god.), written by the revered saint-poet Goswami Tulsidas in the Awadhi language. This sacred set of forty verses (hence, Chalisa) is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the ultimate devotee of Lord Rama, celebrated for his immense strength, courage, wisdom, and selfless service.
